For a variety reasons I haven’t posted anything on my blog in a very long time. Basically, I just haven’t felt motivated, but maybe that might change.
With Mixed emotions today I sold and said goodbye to my Nissan Rogue. She was purchased as a "dad car" in May 2019. The Rogue was chosen because of all the cars I test drove she was the easiest for my old dad to get in and out of. However, towards the end of her life with myself as the owner she faced a number of extremely expensive repairs. Finally ending with a bad engine, and the repair garage informing me that she needed a “new motor”. As the old expression goes “it was time for us to part company”.
On the flip side the person I sold her to has every intention of replacing the
engine, and restoring the Rogue with his grandson to her former glory. Which
will be the young lad's first car. To me this is a terrific, and incredibly
positive ending to my ownership of her.
