A nice way to spend a couple of hours mellowing out before work. Off to my left about 2 or 3 hundred yards away, there was a dad teaching his kids some soccer skills, and a bit further away there was some young kids playing a spirited game of basketball. A similar distance on my left there was a mom sitting in the grass on some mats teaching a group of kids a foreign language. Over my left shoulder there were kids laughing, and playing nicely in a playground, and another couple was practicing some sort of dance. No one was swearing, fighting or arguing. Everyone was far enough so their voices, and activities didn't bother anyone else.
As for myself I was wallowing in my ongoing depression, and reflecting upon what seems like a 10,000 issues both past, and present. However in a strange way as fast as my mind was cycling through all these thoughts. I was also feeling very relaxed, and at peace.
